It is a pleasure and honor for me to introduce the new issue of Turk JEM March 2010. This issue being the first issue of 2010 is also another occasion to celebrate our 14th volume. This journal throughout its existence has solely devoted itself on the perfection and practice of endocrinologic research; this philosophy is continued to be carried out on its stable and academically strong pillars. From this issue and onwards Turk JEM journal will be accepting articles in Turkish as well as ones in English in order to support and encourage publication of Turkish academics. It is supposed that the manuscripts of our young colleagues who are at the beginning of their education in endocrinology will provide valuable contributions in the evaluation of their academic development. Turk JEM anticipates and encourages submission of original articles, case reports and reviews of local and foreign authors in English as well as Turkish.
